Ania Business Development
"I'm extremely motivated to be part of it!"

Ania Glowacz loves being a part of the Clean Planet team because of her belief in the products and in the vision of bringing change to the cleaning industry.

She's always been a passionate 'greenie' and as a mum cares a great deal about the state of her planet for the sake of her kids.

"What kids are exposed to in their lives needs to be carefully monitored - especially in their first few years. This includes the food they eat, substances they are exposed to, and ultimately the state of their immune system.

"The vision of schools and day care centres using toxin filled products like bleach, and cheap raspberry-flavoured disinfectant to do their cleaning fills me with absolute horror!"

"The world is chemical mad, particularly in the cleaning products department, with super sanitisers for your toilet, artificial scents for the home and car...the list goes on and on."

"Anything that makes a difference to this situation truly makes a difference - and I am extremely motivated to be part of it!"

Ivan Madawiwaha Franchisee
"I'm proud to be making a difference."

Ivan was one of Clean Planet's first franchisees. Since joining the team in March 2009, his business has grown to 3 staff and he now cleans for 9 different clients.

He was drawn to Clean Planet because of its Kiwi ownership, green credentials and attractive entry options for franchisees. "Clean Planet offered a really great entry price for me to start my own business.

The appeal of working with a young rapidly expanding business where there was an opportunity to grow with the business was a big drawcard."

"Safety was also a big factor for me. Sometimes we come into contact with chemicals when we're cleaning and they're pretty toxic.

I know with Clean Planet I am safe and so are my staff. I also believe its really important to protect the environment for the next generation, for our children. I'm proud to be making a difference."

Mark Houghton Brown Director
"We're helping business 'Walk the Talk'"

Mark knows a thing or two about protecting the environment. This passionate eco-warrior has devoted his career to combining his deep ecological convictions with progressive business solutions.

Before immigrating to New Zealand Mark achieved the 'Organic Farmer of the Year' award in the UK, where he founded his own range of branded health foods, which are still selling successfully in all the major supermarkets there.

He got involved with Clean Planet to help make a difference in the 'dirty old cleaning industry' for the sake of New Zealand's 'clean green' environment - one of the main drawcards for him and his family to relocate from the UK to sunny Nelson.

He says many companies are developing sustainability strategies and look for suppliers to help them 'walk the talk' and deliver better environmental solutions.

"There's huge demand for truly environmentally-friendly services, not just tokenism, and companies are paying attention to what's going down their sink for both the health of their staff and the health of our environment.

The huge response to what we're doing tells us that we're on the right track - that more and more people see there is a better way and want to support it."
