In the bathrooms, kitchens and on surfaces, cleaners use special locally-manufactured Clean Planet products, including the company’s own formulations of new-generation multi-purpose cleaner, toilet clean and dishwashing liquid, all of which have Environmental-Choice certification. Clean Planet have a policy of only producing and using products that avoid environmentally-damaging chemicals such as bleaches, chlorine based cleaners, EDTA, dyes or phosphates and keep the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to an absolute minimum. The reduction in the use of chemicals and VOC’s throughout the mall will result in an immediate improvement in the air quality for the customers and minimised impact on allergy sufferers affected by cleaning chemicals in the air |
