New Zealand has an eco-labelling scheme called ‘Environmental Choice’, which is independent of the government but the label itself is owned and endorsed by the government. Environmental Choice New Zealand is a member of the Global Ecolabelling Network, so you can be sure of the authenticity of their assessments and certifications.
