Eucalyptus Oil
When you go out, allergens tend to get stuck to your clothes and come into your home with you. However, people who use 55 degree Celsius water to wash their clothes usually have fewer allergens attached to them. However, if you can't or don't want to wash with hot water, try cold water with Eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil can kill dust mites and allergens, and this can reduce your symptoms.

Clean Your Heavy Curtains and Your Home
If you have heavy curtains or drapes in your home with thick folds, they are dust magnets. Either swapping them out or having them thoroughly cleaned will help to control your allergy symptoms. Cleaning them will get rid of the dust mites, and your curtains will look refreshed. Also, dust floats through the air and settles on everything in the vicinity. When you touch the objects, the dust gets transferred to your hands, and then you touch your face. This can cause your allergy symptoms to flare, and a good reason to do a spring clean.

Go Green for Cleaning Agents
Strong chemical smells can irritate anyone who is sensitive to them or anyone who has allergies. Green cleaning products are usually gentle on the skin, and they don't have the heavy chemical smell that you get with many industrial cleaning agents. They're also better for the environment. If you have a cleaning company come in, ask about their cleaning solutions.
