
Nelson Croos is one of Clean Planet’s Commercial Cleaning Franchisee owners, working in Auckland CBD and Northshore. Born in Italy and raised in Italy and Sri Lanka, Nelson has been with Clean Planet managing his business for more than four years.
Over this time, Nelson worked to increase his turnover every year by taking over a few new sites at a time. Today Nelson Cross is one of the largest earning franchisees in Northshore.
“While I was working at Clean Planet, I worked as a duty manager in one of the leading hotels in the city center. Time management was the most important key aspect for me to perform my business and perform smoothly. To grow my business, I started to hire more staff every quarter and took myself out of the service and started managing the business” states Nelson.
Nelson was of the opinion that Clean Planet helped him to grow. Helped in owning and running the largest earning franchisee business in Northshore.

Sheetal and Kritesh Kumar are one of Clean Planet’s Commercial Cleaning Franchise owners in the Rotorua region. Originally from Fiji, the Rotorua-based Commercial Cleaning Franchisee owners Sheetal and Kritesh Kumar stated that they wanted to run their own business and have excellent career growth by becoming their own bosses in their region, Rotorua. Owning a Commercial Cleaning Franchisee from Clean Planet was a wise decision that fulfilled the dream.
“I choose Clean Planet because of the ease of starting my own franchise. It is new in Rotorua, and it’s growing faster, so that means success for us as well. Clean Planet has supported us in purchasing and growing our franchise,” – says Sheetal.
Over the short period (6 months) as Franchisees, the couple now has a variety of customers ranging from Educational centres, Schools and Preschools. When asked about their growth with Clean Planet, the couple said, they have become successful business owners in Rotorua in a short time.

John Sione is one of Clean Planet’s Commercial Franchisee owners in the West Auckland region. Originally from Tuvalu, John has been residing in New Zealand for over 30 years.
He has been an amazing franchise who works for one of Clean Planet’s biggest customers in the West Auckland region.
“I started my cleaning with Art Centre, Royal Oak – from there all customers were happy”. The support from the Head office and his Master Regional Franchisee manager was always helpful. “Manan, MRF manager comes into see my sites sometimes. Gives me all the help I need, he communicates with me all the time and bonds and won’t let us alone as just a franchisee. He makes sure he monitors and looks after the business” says, John.
John has been with Clean Planet for over 3 years now, working along with his wife and children. He has been in the cleaning industry for a long time, worked for different companies, and finally realized the difference between having his own Franchisee Business. After research, comparison, and analysis he found Clean Planet to be best suited to start his own business.

Sera Bell is one of Clean Planet’s Commercial franchisees in Rotorua. From a stay-at-home mum to a business owner, Sera has come a long way.
Sera proves that with hard work you can reach your goals. Being a mum to a 2-year-old and working as a franchisee business owner was a tough task. But with Clean Planet’s flexibility in the working hours, she was able to bring a balance to her own business and in being a mother.
When she is with Clean Planet, health, well-being, and safety are what are on top of her mind. The flexibility of working in one’s availability is another boon. “We receive the commercial clients from the Support Office and once the customers are on board, we enquire what their requirements are and clean the property accordingly with a starter kit provided – the only thing left is you copy that, run the business and the show begins” – Sera states proudly.
During the signing up process with Clean Planet, the MRF Manager Praneel & the Clean Planet Support Office staff have been very helpful. Praneel’s guidance throughout setting up the business and running it has been a boon. “He educated me communication is the best tool – it helps to understand and ensure our client’s requirements. He taught me not to defer learning and thus I have grown within my business”, says Sera.

Ankush is the owner of a Clean Planet Commercial Franchise in the Waikato region.
Before joining Clean Planet, Ankush was working for a Franchisee owner. With Ankush wanting to start his own business, he decided to buy his own franchisee to start with. The flexibility to work around his time and Clean Planet as an environmentally friendly cleaning company in New Zealand were the attractive factors for Ankush in choosing to become a Clean Planet Franchisee owner.
He believes that he made the best choice in becoming a partner of Clean Planet Franchisee. He states that he is able to be flexible and balance his professional & personal life since he started his own Commercial Cleaning franchise with Clean Planet.
Ankush has been with Clean Planet for over the past 2 years as a Commercial Cleaning franchisee. “I have been able to gain valuable experience with Clean Planet in what it takes to deliver the highest quality for our clients.”

Savina and Narend are one of Clean Planet’s South Auckland Commercial Franchisee owners. Originally from Fiji, this franchisee owner couple has been with Clean Planet for over 3 years.
“Growing with Clean Planet was an amazing journey” states Savina. She grew her business with Clean Planet over the years. Starting from Papatoetoe and nearby regions she has further extended her business and shifted to the far south of Auckland to the Pukekohe region.
“We have numerous clients, the sites we clean are Home Care centers, corporate offices, pre-schools, and more…they have always commented on our good work!”
When asked about Clean Planet as a franchisee business and what they feel about it – Savina say’s “Clean Planet is a good franchisor to own a business with. All the managers are very approachable and mainly Brendon, our MRF manager, was very helpful. The head office delivers us training while we joined, and the field Managers of South Auckland – Sally and Prasant have always helped us to make our workflow smooth”.

Rosey & Basant has been with Clean Planet for over the past 12 years. They are one of Clean Planet’s longest-serving franchisees, who are running the Commercial Cleaning Franchise in the South Auckland Region.
Rosy & Basant are happy, hardworking couples with positive and can-do attitudes.
Rosy states that she is happy with Clean Planet’s management team and the support from Master Regional Franchise Manager.

Roel & Mirosol live in Glenfield on Auckland’s Northshore. Originally from the Phillipines, they have been franchisees since 2012. Roel says, “Since we engaged in our business with Clean Planet, it has brought us tremendous opportunities because the company always given premium to its franchisees”.
Roel says he, Mirasol and his family are working together in our franchise, and they enjoy providing customer and giving the best service beyond expectation.

Ernesto’s and Anna’s homeland is El Salvador, but New Zealand has now been their home for more than 13 years. They have more than $400,000 in turnover and run a large team of people to ensure they provide the very best of service to some of Clean Planet’s largest customers.
Their philosophy is: “use the right product, in the right places, at the right time, with the right person, and with the right attitude…” And the best thing? “The right relationship between the client, franchisor and franchisee.” Wise words indeed!

Chandu & Laurelee started their Hawkes Bay franchise in January 2017, but in the short time since have built it to a turnover of $71,000. Their contracts include 2 small schools and ½ a dozen offices. Chandu and Laurelee say that starting a Clean Planet franchise has given them financial stability and the flexibility to work around their family and other work commitments.
They really appreciate the regular communication and contact with the Regional Franchisor, and it is always easy to sort out any questions or problems. They especially like getting the positive feedback from clients and Clean Planet.
Master Regional Franchisee Roy Boonen says Chandu & Laurelee “are doing great work, and have excellent communication skills. They deal with everything with a smile and clients regularly comment about how nice they are and how much they appreciate their help to keep their premises looking good.”

Nitin started with Clean Planet in 2014, entering the company with Managerial and Supervisory skills, and a passion for quality and customer satisfaction.
Since joining Clean Planet Nitin has gained experience in retail cleaning, corporate office cleaning, and also laboratory and medical facility cleaning, all of which have quite specific demands. Nitin has very high customer satisfaction and therefore an excellent customer retention rate.
He is also the region’s hard floor specialist in stripping, sealing and general maintenance, and gains a lot of extra work in this area.

Farzana and Tilawat are a successful business couple. They have their own job as Managers and also run a commercial cleaning franchise business with Clean Planet (work after office hours).
In a short time of four years, they have managed many commercial cleaning sites in South Auckland and very proud of what they do.
Their success is also Clean Planet’s success.

Mukesh Kakkar [Mack] is originally from India however has called New Zealand home for seven years. Mukesh did his own research for Environmental Choice and Eco-friendly cleaning products for his own use when he stumbled upon Clean Planet. He was amazed by the business ethos of Clean Planet and decided to come onboard as a franchisee. Mukesh has been with Clean Planet for two years and found it very rewarding to work alongside a supportive and encouraging management team.
Mukesh won “Franchisee of the Month Award” – Clean Planet nationwide in March 2019.
Mukesh says: “Having a supportive management team, family who are all supportive with positiveness and dedication are the key to my success.”

Prasenjit Mahato came to New Zealand in 2015 where he studied Hospitality Management. After graduating, he started work at Mantra Lake Tekapo where after 10 months he was promoted to Housekeeping Manager.
Being introduced to Clean Planet by Rahul and Pooja Gada, Prasenjit decided to join the franchise business as he was very impressed with green, eco-friendly cleaning and business ethos of Clean Planet.
“We believe in healthy cleaning to protect the staff’s health and the cleaners themselves. The training and induction part were conducted professionally to make sure we deliver excellent result to our clients throughout New Zealand, and now I have my own commercial cleaning sites.”
At the moment, Prasenjit is managing 6 sites covering office and warehouse cleaning.
“The key quality to be successful in this job is to have an eye for details, maintain timely communication with clients and regional director and response to clients with positive attitude“- he said.
