  • Who are we?
    We're the first and only commercial and domestic cleaning company New Zealand's Asthma Foundation has approved as a Sensitive Choice partner. Clean Planet was set up in 2008 by a passionate bunch of Kiwis who recognised the need for healthier, greener business cleaning solutions. We aimed to establish an ethical commercial and domestic cleaning service that was kinder to both people’s health and the health of the planet. Since then we’ve been getting rid of toxic cleaning chemicals in Kiwi homes and workplaces.

    We're the first commercial and domestic cleaners to come up with our own locally formulated and manufactured range of health-focused, environmentally kinder products. And we've fine-tuned all our cleaning processes to improve indoor air quality and create a healthier work and home environment. We're ethical and we're committed to quality. We deliver healthier, environmentally kinder homes and workplaces for our clients and a superior quality clean.

    Chief Executive
    As Chief Executive my role is to support and grow the team, both internally and externally. Clean Planet has been trading since 2008 and I am pleased to be involved with a vibrant and growing company. I have been with Clean Planet since 2013, and I am passionate about growing the Clean Planet brand and having it recognised as a company that genuinely cares for the environment and people’s health – that of our staff, Franchisees and customers. I especially enjoy working with our Franchisees and Master Franchisees, learning about them and their cultures and seeing them grow in their roles, improving their skills and expanding their business. When I am not at work I keep fit by riding my mountain bike, and often relax by playing one of my guitars [bass or electric 6 string], while over the summer weekends I will frequently be out on the water helping run the club sailing for a North Shore sailing club.

    Home Cleaning Manager
    As Home Cleaning Manager, it is my role to support home cleaning franchisees who are already part of the Clean Planet family, or who are coming on board. My first priority is to meet franchisees who, like us, are committed to providing a clean, green, environmental service to our customers; and, who want to succeed in creating a business and an asset for their future. Once we have the right fit, my focus is on ensuring that our franchisees have all the skills and knowledge to grow their business and achieve their personal and professional goals. For me, the best part about working with our franchise team, is hearing from my customers about the fantastic job they have received from Clean Planet and how we give them back quality time, as well as leaving them confident that their home is clean and healthy. In my free time, I enjoy coaching and managing my sons and their water polo teams; and, if the weather is good, I will be out fishing or relaxing in the garden.     Financial Controller
    I joined Clean Planet in 2011 as a Financial Controller. The role was a challenging one as I came from logistics background. My responsibility lies with day to day running and managing accounting duties. This involves a lot of Financial accounting functions and franchisee processing and royalty fees etc. In my role I work closely with the Regional Managers and Master Regional Franchisees as the accounting functions are centralized with the Head Office. I have been doing Accounting roles for last 22 years both here and in Fiji. I am member of CAANZ and currently pursuing further studies with them. As a responsible individual, I’m very passionate about saving our planet for the future generations. We all have social responsibility to behave and be ethically and sensitively towards mother nature. In my spare time I love travelling, cooking and working in the gardens.

    National Sales Manager (Commercial)
    As National Sales Manager, it is my role to coach and mentor Regional/Master Franchisors, and to encourage a consultative approach to our customers toward not only their cleaning needs but also other added value such as recycling initiatives, streamlined service provision and so on. I am passionate with working with Key Account customers and overseeing that service requests, reporting and service delivery has been achieved; maintaining the outgoing relationship and identifying additional key Account customers to work with. At Clean Planet, I enjoy working with a close knit and cohesive team and working with a company whose products are proven to be good to the environment (including humans and the planet). In my free time, I enjoy fitness, entertaining, gardening, painting and being in the nature.

    National Operations Manager
    The three things I enjoy most about working at Clean Planet are People, Philosophy and Variety. In my field of expertise, I would like to work and help our franchisees grow into better business owners; build long term relationship with our clients and have new exciting challenges in the job (no one day is ever the same). I have been in the commercial and industrial industry for over five years now. Starting from the ground level up, I've been able to gain valuable experience in what it takes to deliver the highest quality for our clients. Joining Clean Planet in 2016 my role in Operations has now lead me to assisting the growth of our master franchisees and local franchisees throughout the country. I am passionate about growing Clean Planet through the success of our franchisees; helping and supporting the core operations of our company to ensure we are at the leading forefront of our industry. When not at work, I like to be outdoors, from long walks with my dog, swimming or gym. Anything to keep active. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

    Customer Services Manager
    Things I enjoy the most about working at Clean Planet are people and our passion in improving our environment. I started at Clean Planet from 2012. Prior to that I have worked in customer service over 40 years for different companies in New Zealand. I love customer service and the opportunity of talking about services. When not at work, I enjoy spending time as a grandmother and interior design.

    Marketing Manager
    As Marketing Manager, it is my role to support Master Regional Franchisors and more than 130 franchisees (2018) across New Zealand with marketing initiatives and activities. My first priority is to create and highlight great franchisee success stories (because there are so many of them at Clean Planet) who, thanks to the franchise system, they can become their own bosses, work their ways to become business owners in New Zealand and earn a decent income. I also work with customers’ marketing campaigns and Clean Planet’s business partners to promote the health and well-being core values of Clean Planet. For me, the best part about working with Clean Planet marketing and sales team, is to deliver a consistent image of Clean Planet to all clients and franchisees, and make sure whatever we promote, we are committed to deliver that service standard to customers. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and going on a nice road trip, meeting people from all corners of the world; and, if the weather is good, I will be out hiking all new regions in New Zealand and enjoy this beautiful country.
