Clean Planet organised clothing donation for the Salvation Army
In an effort to contribute to the community and assist one of their long-term customers, Clean Planet in December organised a collection of clothing and other items for donation to the Salvation Army, with these items presented to Auckland City Corps Salvation Army team, Mt Wellington.
Clean Planet Chief Executive Tony Pattison said: “Salvation Army have been customers of ours for a very long time, and we are delighted to be able to assist our partner and give back to our community during these difficult times.”
Many of Clean Planet’s team members took part with donations, and with everyone’s contribution, we were able to donate plenty of quality clothing and other items.
Allan Bateman from Salvation Army, Mt Wellington said: “Thank you for the donation and taking time out to think of them.”
One of our goals is to help our respective communities grow and bring more smiles to people’s face.
